It is firmer and richer in flavor than meat from industrial hybrid hens because it comes from Heritage chickens. Heritage chicken breeds are slower growing, making the meat more complex in flavor when compared to fast growing, overly tender commercially raised chickens.

Heritage chickens are ideal for pastured settings because they are incredibly skillful at foraging for food – and that means they eat less feed than other breeds. Force of Nature’s chickens have direct access to a robust and natural diet of bugs, grubs, grasses, and any other supplemental feed they are offered is guaranteed to be non-GMO, and grown on local, regenerative farms.
