The nostalgic smell of caramelized onion gently interspersed with tender beef liver in a cast iron skillet transports one back to 1960’s and 70’s Sunday dinner at grandma’s.

Organic Prairie Grass-fed Beef Liver is conveniently sliced for quick cooking. Grass-fed beef liver is known among health gurus as “nature’s multivitamin.” It is extraordinarily nutrient‑dense with high levels of naturally occurring vitamin A (retinol), vitamin B12, vitamin E, copper, iron, riboflavin, chromium, zinc and choline. The iron in beef liver is highly absorbable to our bodies. A grass-based diet also increases beef liver’s fatty‑acid composition – spiking omega‑3s and precursors like Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA).

Besides the classic liver and onions, you can cook beef liver in cream sauces, make pate, or dehydrate for protein packed snackable beef liver chips.

Why you’ll love it:

  • No Grains
  • No Antibiotics
  • Certified Grass-Fed
  • No Grain By-Products
  • No Added Hormones
  • No GMO’s

*Caution: Due to the extreme levels of vitamin A and copper, it is recommended to consume liver in moderation (100–250g per week) to avoid nutrient toxicity.

About Organic Prairie:

Organic Prairie is owned by Thousand Hills. Matt Maier, owner at Thousand Hills, is "Chief Renegade” of the “Regenerative Renegade” he started in his Minnesota community. Initially, Matt launched Thousand Hills in 2003 with a passion to bring consumers the nutritional benefits of lifetime-grazed 100% grass-fed beef. But that soon turned into a full-on mission to heal the land when he set out to recapture and regenerate as many acres as possible. Chief Matt’s Regenerative Renegade began with the 120 acres of his home farm and expanded to over 1,000 acres and 13 different small farm owners. Now, Thousand Hills sources from another 50 like-minded U.S. family farms across the country who are committed to their own regenerative community projects. So far, these renegades have positively affected 600,000 acres of U.S. farmland! Warms the heart to hear such news! This isn’t just good for the planet, this is good for everyone because we know that Thousand Hills products have no grain or grain by-products, no artificial hormones, no antibiotics, no feedlots, and no GMOs.
