This wild rice is organic, grown in marshy areas around Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

 

These wild rice pieces give a nice price savings, and a different texture. Because the grain is broken, the cooked pieces open up more, almost like the way quinoa bursts open when cooked. It’s a fun texture, and a nice difference in price!
