This Azure Market Brown Teff Flour is the food prepared from cleaned Teff seeds that are of sound quality and produced in accordance with good manufacturing practices and all applicable FDA regulations as amended.
 
Teff Flour, Brown is made from Teff Grain an Ancient Grain of Ethiopia.
 
Teff flour is made using the Unifine Process, in the Unifine Process the grain enters a high speed rotor and is instantly shattered into fine flour - even the bran and germ are burst! Air goes through the rotor with the grain and blows the flour out, thus keeping it cool throughout the process, retaining many nutrients. With the Unifine Process the natural oils in the grain are kept intact and do not get hot like in regular grain milling and stoneground milling.

Teff is a delicious grain with high quality complex carbohydrates, proteins, minerals and fiber. Brown Teff is rich in flavor with a subtle nutty aftertaste. This high quality grain has the same high nutritional value as the grain. Teff flour is delicious in pancakes, waffles, baked goods, or as a thickener in soups and gravy.
 
Teff is naturally gluten free and this product is packaged in a facility that is gluten tested with a consistent result of less than 20 ppm to meet the standard of gluten-free.
 
Azure Market products that are re-packaged by Azure for your convenience are packaged in a Facility that meets the  Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards which includes an approved allergen control program.
 
Price is FOB Moro, Oregon for customers purchasing the 1200 lb size Tote. Customers are responsible for freight charges based on chosen method of delivery from our warehouse to their destination. Receiving customer must have a Forklift, or Dock to unload. Please call for your shipping quote.
