What we do was done by artisans thousands of years ago. It has stood the test of time for a reason: people like food that tastes good and is good for them. Yet nobody’s doing it quite like we are today.
We think the best bread begins with freshly sprouted wheat berries. So we sprout our own and harvest them to create a unique dough that makes all the difference. In short, it’s the kind of bread you make when you own the place.
We’re a worker-owned bakery, a band of uncompromising Sprouters and Bakers in Sonoma County, California who are going against the grain for true whole grain goodness.
Our brand new recipes for the USDA Black Label Breads have received an unprecedented success upon their recent launch. Yes, they make wider sandwiches. Yes, they are organic and made of non-gmo ingredients. Yes, they meet and even surpass the USDA guidelines.
