The NuttZo story can be traced to Danielle LiVolsi’s first son, Gregory, who was a Ukrainian orphan. After Danielle and her husband adopted Gregory, they realized he had been severely malnourished. So Danielle began working hard to provide the boy with a diet rich in the nutrients he was lacking.

Having grown up loving nut butters herself, Danielle decided to include healthy nut butters in her son’s diet. At the time, there weren’t any available that contained the diverse array of nutrients she wanted, so she started making her own, homemade nut butter blend out of all-organic ingredients. She packed her creation with a host of superfoods: Valencia peanuts, flax seeds, hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, sea salt and vitamin E tocopherols.
