One of the co-founders of Wildbrine had an idea. He began to develop large quantities of naturally fermented kraut for a nonprofit’s client base of cancer patients, which was eventually packaged and sold to raise funds for the nonprofit. Made with fresh, raw ingredients sourced from the west coast, each kraut is carefully prepared by adding vegetables and spices and letting fermentation take care of the rest. But what began as a way to help support a local nonprofit eventually turned into a way to create locally grown, organic whole food and supply it as the foundation of health for people, communities and the planet.
All of Wildbrine’s products are made only from whole ingredients such as fresh vegetables. They are crafted without added sweeteners, lab cultures or extracted flavors. Each batch is wild-fermented below 70 degrees and shelve-refrigerated retaining their raw, probiotic nutrition. Each bottle contains at least 5 billion CFU of live probiotic cultures including L. plantarum and L. brevis when craft-bottled.
