Rhubarb Seed, Organic

Rhubarb seed isn't necessarily true to variety like when planting the crowns, but these seeds were produced from the most vigorous "Strawberry Rhubarb" plants in the patch!  Some of these seeds will have the "Strawberry Rhubarb" characteristics with the beautiful, large, crimson-red rhubarb stalks, and some will have both red and green characteristics of other varieties.  Rhubarb is best used fresh in pies, jams, sauces, chutneys, etc.  It can also be chopped and frozen or freeze-dried for winter use. Warning: Rhubarb stalks are edible, but the leaves are toxic.
