Bringing you our very own  “Friedrich Heirloom” red raspberry plant. This prolific raspberry has been growing on Azure Farm for 5 generations; ever since Grandpa Friedrich planted the first one more than 70 years ago.  The shoots of these Ellie’s Eden raspberries are strictly vegetative during their first growing season.  The following year, the canes will blossom and give you delicious, fresh, medium size raspberries for your enjoyment.  The sweet tasty berries are great for freezing, jamming, or just enjoying as a snack when strolling through the garden.  Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained loamy soils.  Harvest time is usually the month of July but may vary depending on location and weather.
