Potatoes, Yellow, Organic

Yellow Potatoes can vary in size from small to large and can be round or oblong in shape. Their skin can be light to to golden and the flesh can be yellow to golden in color. Their flavor is slightly sweet and is rich and buttery tasting with a medium natural sugar content.  They are great for grilling, roasting, mashing and in salads.

 

  It is particularly well-suited for roasting, pan frying and using in soups, stews and gratins.  It can be baked, mashed and fried but will not produce the same results as a russet baking potato.
