Azure’s quality supplier wants you to know that safety and quality of their produce comes first.

They grow the plants without using any GMOs, Synthetic Fertilizers, Insecticides, Fungicides, or Chemicals of any kind. In addition, they source the seeds from sustainable companies that don’t sell any GMO seeds and have signed the Safe Seed Pledge.

Here is an overview of how these greens are grown.

The seeds are planted in quality soil mixed together with a balance of compost, fertilizer, and organic matter. They then water the greens with pure water from their mountain spring. At last, they harvest and ship out the greens within 1-2 days to ensure Azure get Microgreens that are as fresh as possible!

Radish microgreens are nutrient-dense, mildly spicy, high in fiber, about 19 calories per cup, with an incredible burst of flavor. Researchers with the University of Maryland of Agriculture and Natural Resources teamed up with the USDA to study microgreens and found that they contain 4x to 40x the nutrition of the full-grown plant! Looking to significantly increase the nutrition and taste appeal in your food without the calories? Then radish microgreens are your answer. What are microgreens? They are tiny plants grown in soil and harvested after 1-2 weeks of growing, rendering maximum antioxidant value. Our microgreens are grown pesticide and chemical free in a greenhouse with pure mountain spring water which eliminates any contaminants from the air. Microgreens jazz up salads, soups, sandwiches, entrees, and even pizza due to their taste and color. Microgreens are high in phytonutrients, which help to protect against disease, pollution, and environmental threats. With so much of today's food being devitalized due to farming practices, microgreens are the best!

Azure keeps its produce at a chilled temperature in order to maximum the freshness and shelf life of the product. In order for customers to enjoy Azure produce for more than a couple of days beyond delivery, it must be kept at a refrigerated temperature at all times until consumption. In addition, do not wash your produce until you are ready to enjoy it. The fruit bowls are lovely but produce will not last out on the counter top.

Note: We do our best to ship quality produce to Alaska and Hawaii, but due to unknown conditions at the barge lines, we cannot guarantee the quality on arrival.  These microgreens may not hold up for delivery to East Coast customers or other customers long-distance from Oregon.
