After trying many varieties of lettuce over the years, Michelle lettuce has become our tried and true, family favorite, plus it's fun having a seed the same as your name!  This Batavian lettuce is amazing in that it doesn't bolt quickly or taste bitter like other lettuce does.  Truly an exceptional heirloom, this lettuce just keeps producing large, thick, sweet, crunchy leaves that are dark green with a tinge of red on the tips.  Makes a beautiful salad that tastes outstanding!   Open pollinated.
