This heirloom cilantro has beautiful bright green, feathery leaves that are very aromatic with a zesty, distinct flavor.  Great for salsas, salads and salad dressings, and for medicinal use.  This plant will continue to come back after cut and is slow to bolt.  Seeds can be harvested for coriander.   Open pollinated.

WHERE & WHEN TO PLANT:  Can sow indoors 3-4 weeks before last spring frost or just direct seed in the garden after all danger of frost has passed and soil is 70 degrees.  Seeds germinate in 6-10 days.  Plant 1/4" deep spaced 1' apart.

 

REMARKS:  Cilantro prefers a sunny, well-drained location that is well fertilized with compost/manure.  Harvest leaves to encourage more growth.  Remove any flower buds to extend the season.  Evenly water throughout the summer.  Use fresh leaves chopped or blended, or dry the leaves for later use.  Harvest seeds for coriander spice.
