Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt

Our Himalayan salt crystals are formed in ancient ocean deposits in the pristine Himalayan Mountains and are believed to be the purest form of salt available. The crystals range in color from sheer white to dusky pink to deep red, a result of the 84 minerals and trace elements captured within.

Historically, the Himalayan people used salt crystals to preserve meat and season dishes. Every year they journeyed far and wide to trade this precious commodity, transporting the salt through narrow mountain passes. Himalayan salt crystals are still mined by hand, without harmful explosive techniques. 

Pure and unrefined, this mineral salt is ideal for seasonings and brines. It can also be used to create luxurious bath salts, body scrubs, and more when mixed with coconut oil or cacao butter.
