Ground Lamb, Frozen, Regenerative

This is special lamb.  O'Crowley Farms is a Certified Organic Regenerative Almond Farm and we use sheep to graze the intense ground cover we grow.  Our goal is healthy soil and that makes nutrient dense almonds and robustly healthy sheep.  You don't need to worry about orchard sprays from the orchard management system as we do not use herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, bactericides, parasitoids, etc...even organic certified or otherwise.  The only things we use are organic certified compost teas and nutrients—things like fish emollients.  The nutrients the sheep get is great.  The beautiful nutrition we want packed in our almonds is what the sheep also get grazing the orchard. The sheep are rotationally grazed so they're always on fresh clean pasture--increasing the soil life and feeding the biology that feeds the trees and the forage that will feed them on the next pass.  

**O'Crowley Farms regenerative certification is not a nod to a social construct agreeing soil is important.  Many certificates are an entry level regenerative label—ours is Tier 5, which is the top tier indicating a farm excelling at all the recognized practices for healthy soil.  This Regenerative Certificate means the internationally recognized certifier spent from sun up to sun down, inspecting everything, walking the farm, looking over our practices, gathering samples to test, including soil samples and vegetation samples, as well as testing water infiltration and much more. When the test results came in they assigned us their highest level saying it is the model of what farm soil and practices should look like. We may be more proud of their stamp of praise than even our organic certification.
