Costata Romanesco Zucchini Seed, Organic

This is an Italian heirloom zucchini famous for its slightly nutty flavor and exceptional texture.  It has a medium gray-green tender skin with light green flecks and scalloped ribs.  These plants also produce large edible flowers that are great sautéed, added to soups, or stuffed.  We won’t grow any other variety of zucchini after trying this one!  This zucchini doesn’t produce as heavily as common hybrids, but the flavor and texture make up the difference! These unique zucchini were grown here on the farm on Dufur, Ore., by Azure Husbandry.
