Azure Market Organics coconut vinegar is made from fermented coconut water. It’s a delicious addition to pickles, sauces, salad dressings, and condiments; and it adds a delightful pop of acidity to cooked meat and fish. Like apple cider vinegar, it’s also great added to water or used for facial or hair care.
Coconut water contains a variety of minerals, including potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sodium. It may also have many health benefits, including kidney stone prevention, skin health, and antioxidant properties. Research hasn’t examined how fermentation affects these nutrients, but it has shown that coconut vinegar contains polyphenols—healthy plant compounds that may help prevent diabetes or heart disease—and probiotics, which are produced as a result of the fermentation process.
