A rich and creamy indulgence that is made with coconut sugar and coconut milk instead of dairy, this bar offers heavy notes of caramel and toasted coconut, with just a little coconut tang.

This chocolate bar is made from organic cacao from Dominican Republic & Peru, organic coconut palm sugar from Indonesia, and organic coconut milk and coconut flakes from Sri Lanka, all grown by small farmer co-ops. When farmers organize into co-ops they gain crucial market access, run their business democratically, and decide together how to invest in their communities. FUNDOPO, one of our cacao partners in Dominican Republic, has been organizing producers since 2002 and is now a co-operative of over 2,000 farmers. In recent years the co-op has experienced lower yields due to climate change and aging cacao farms. The co-op is focusing on increasing productivity for members.
