Foods Alive started back in 2002 when Ellen and Michael Moor cooked up their first flaxseed crackers. The flavor of the golden flaxseed oil they were using seemed superior to common brown flaxseed oil, so it wasn’t long before they began experimenting with golden flaxseed salad dressings. In 2006, they began cold-pressing their own golden flax oil in small batches.
