American Flag Leek Seeds

This particular variety of leeks originated back in the 1870's.  This is a great performer and is perfect for either the home or market grower.  Leeks are prized for their tasty pearl-white bulbs with a mild onion flavor and big green leaves. Start seeds indoors before last frost. Thin seedlings when transplanting and plant 6" apart about 2 weeks before last frost in full sun. Mulch heavily in cold climates. Leeks overwinter well in milder climates. Approx. 400 seeds
