🌡️ Plant Shock & Recovery: Ellie’s Eden plant starts are grown in a climate-controlled, warm greenhouse where they receive balanced organic care. However, when they leave this cozy environment and are shipped in a dark box on a cold truck, they may go into temporary shock. This is a normal response to the change in conditions, but it doesn’t mean the plant won’t survive!
🪴 Helping Your Plants Recover: To help your plant starts acclimate and recover, we recommend: ✔ Placing them in a warm, sunny location (such as a sunny window or greenhouse). ✔ Watering them regularly and keeping the soil moist. ✔ Allowing them a few days to a week to adjust before planting them in the ground.
📢 Important Refund & Credit Policy:
If your plant starts arrive damaged due to freezing or broken stems, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for a credit.
If a plant doesn’t recover from shipping stress after a week of care, and the issue was reported within 24 hours of receiving the plants, we can issue a credit.
Once a plant is removed from its container and planted in the ground or another pot, it is no longer eligible for a credit or refund.
If the issue is reported after 24 hours of delivery, the order is not eligible for a credit or refund.
