Barbados molasses is made from the first boiling of the sugar cane juice after sugar has been made (blackstrap, by comparison, is made from the third boiling.) It is light in color with a pleasant, sweet and mild flavor.

Use it as you would maple syrup or in baking, confectionery items, biscuits and crackers, cookies, baked beans, table syrups & toppings, sweet and sour sauces, or eaten with peanut butter on a slice of bread. Great on waffles!
