Springfield Creamery is a family-owned creamery that has been making yogurt and other dairy products since 1960, using local milk from nearby farms in Eugene, Ore. They were famed for a local fundraiser in the creamery’s early years, when the well-known band, The Grateful Dead, held a benefit concert to raise money for the cash-strapped business back in 1972. Fortunately, the natural foods movement began soon after, and the demand for Nancy’s Yogurt continues to grow.
