About Wilcox Family Farms:

If anybody knows eggs, it’s the good folks at Wilcox Family Farms. Why wouldn’t they? They've been in the business since Judson and Elizabeth Wilcox purchased the 1,600 acre farm in 1909. That means that the fourth generation Wilcox’s running the farm today, Andy, Brent and Chris, were born into it! As were Jim and Barrie Wilcox, 3rd generation Wilcox’s who, in 1961, added 30 milking cows to the operation. In 2008, they sold the dairy and took the farm back to its roots of producing only eggs. In 2010, when Andy, Brent and Chris took over the farm, they made the move from 100% caged to 100% cage-free, free-range, and organic. The Wilcox farm currently has mobile pasture barns that can move around the property providing fresh new grassy pasture for the chickens to roam on. The family added 15 Great Pyrenees guard dogs that are successfully protecting the chickens from the eagles, coyotes, and other wildlife that had cost the farm large numbers of chickens in the past. One hundred and sixteen years of Wilcox family eggs, now that’s something to be proud of!
