They moved to Flournoy, California in 2008 to start growing olives. The goal was to produce cold-cured, raw, “living,” naturally-fermented olives that retain all the health benefits. But it was a long road of learning by trial and error, as there was a dearth of information about how to cure olives without lye. All 8 barrels they made the first year went bad. Thankfully, they have since unlocked the secret to cold-curing and their wonderful olives are beloved by customers everywhere they are available. The farm uses organic and regenerative farming methods on its ninety acres, twenty of which are dedicated to olives. They also grow apples, plums, peaches, a few other fruit trees, grapes, herbs and vegetables.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Azure Standard","offers":[{"title":"10 oz glass","offer_id":46397118021666,"sku":"AZ-GY0425","price":15.67,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"3 lb glass","offer_id":46397118054434,"sku":"AZ-GY0427","price":51.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"12 x 10 oz glass","offer_id":46397118087202,"sku":"AZ-GY0424","price":153.79,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"6 x 3 lb glass","offer_id":46397118119970,"sku":"AZ-GY0426","price":255.18,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/www.montavilla.coop\/products\/olives-cold-cured-sevillano-green-gold-organic-azure-39412","provider":"Montavilla Food Co-op","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
