One day in the warehouse, Hummingbird co-owner, Charlie Tilt practically heard the stacks of nuts, seeds and grains calling out to be used for some higher purpose. So he developed a recipe for a sprouted, raw granola using grains, seeds, and nuts that are soaked overnight, then dehydrated, making them easier to digest. We call this process Awakened®.

The result is Bucky’s Hazelnut Crunch, a slightly sweet, lightly crunchy, cinnamon-accented granola that makes a satisfying breakfast or tasty afternoon snack.

Enjoy with milk of your choice, yogurt, or sprinkled over ice cream or warm breakfast cereal.

Bucky’s is made with conscientiously sourced organic grains, seeds and hazelnuts and has no added oil or refined sugars. We make this blend with love right here in Eugene, at Hummingbird Wholesale.

We source our honey as close to home as possible. The USDA National Organic Program is working on standards regarding organic apiculture in the United States, but currently does not recognize U.S. honey as organic. Regardless, we want to support our regional family apiaries. Sourcing honey as locally as possible allows us to develop relationships with our beekeepers, strengthen our local economy, and limit the energy and fuel required for long-distance shipping. This is why all ingredients in Bucky's are Organic with the exception of a touch of our Oregon Blackberry Honey.
