Dear Montavilla Food Co-op members-owners,

Thank you for taking the plunge and investing in the co-op.

You are investing in your local economy and empowering yourself by taking ownership of your food supply.

We need your help convincing others to do the same.

Please join in our community membership drive to open the doors of the co-op. If each current member (we're at 84) can recruit just 3 new members our membership would total roughly 336 members!

Here are a few ways you can get involved in helping the co-op

- Host a backyard BBQ/fundraiser or dinner party

invite your friends & neighbors set aside a short period of time to talk about why you joined the co-op as a founder and mention some of reasons why they might join as well.
if you'd like to have one of the core or outreach committee members or Bob, our Member Equity Coordinator, come to your BBQ to help explain we can make that happen.

- If you own a business of some sort please consider donating a portion of a days proceeds to the co-op. Donations are tax deductible through the Northwest Cooperative Development Center (NWCDC).

- Write a letter to your friends, Family and/or Coworkers... or anyone you think this may appeal to.

If there is some other way you'd like to help promote the co-op, by all means, let us know and we will work with you to make it happen.
